From Empathy to Action: Cultivating Compassion in the Workplace
What is the role of compassion in state government? Can self-compassion quiet the negative voice in your head that says you aren’t the right person to meet your agency’s expectations? Is there such a thing as too much compassion for others or self? Come explore definitions, envision the realistic application of compassion in the workplace, and consider whether changing your level of compassion would benefit you and your agency.
Objectives: Describe compassion and self-compassion, and apply the appropriate use of compassion and self-compassion to common workplace situations.

Resilience in Action: Navigating Emotions in Change
Change is always happening, and we all go through it—both in our personal lives and at work. Many people struggle with change, which can lead to stress and anxiety, making it harder to thrive and perform well. In this training, you’ll learn how to manage your feelings during change, become more adaptable, and help create a positive work environment. By addressing these issues, you’ll be better prepared to handle change, improve your well-being, and boost your performance at work.
Objectives: Define resilience and explain its importance in navigating organizational change, recognize and explain emotional responses to organizational changes, and identify applicable resilience strategies for each stage of emotional response to change.

The "Why" Behind the "What": Embracing Your Core Values
This class is designed to help participants identify and embrace their core values. This interactive and engaging course will guide participants through a series of exercises and discussions aimed at uncovering their most deeply held principles. Knowing your core values can help guide your decisions and actions, leading to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Objectives: Define and identify your core values, list the benefits of knowing your core values, and align your core values to your purpose/work.

Coaching Conversations Unlocked: Guiding Action Through Coaching
Want to make your conversations more impactful? Whether you’re talking to a coworker, a friend, or family, you don’t need to be an expert to use coaching skills in everyday conversations. In this session, we take a hands-on approach to learn and practice the skills needed to guide conversations with a coaching approach. You can confidently shift your conversations from passive listening and giving advice to asking powerful questions and listening reflectively. These skills empower others to take action towards their goals. If you’ve ever felt that you wanted to help someone and you know they can do it for themselves, this session gives you the key to unlocking coaching conversations.
Objectives: Define coaching, and identify essential coaching skills and a coaching framework for guiding conversations.
