Effective fleet programs provide services while following all pertinent laws, regulations and policies. The core elements of this world class fleet program are:
The proper replacement of vehicles minimizes costs and assures safety. Vehicle-replacement cycles are developed through life-cycle analysis that predicts the optimal replacement time. This analysis considers depreciation, maintenance, fuel consumption, vehicle-preparation costs, overhead and resale value. New vehicles have improved safety systems, produce fewer emissions and are more fuel efficient.
State vehicle contracts beat the market by at least 25 percent for all compact, mid- and full-size sedans. All new cars, vans and trucks, hybrid and battery electric vehicles are on contract. These contracts are available in the contract automobile request system.
