Building Projects
Upcoming Projects
- Window replacement (April - May 2017) - In the spring of 2017, aging and large, single-paned windows were replaced with double-paned windows that preserve the historic look and feel of the building while improving energy efficiency. This project is part of a larger initiative to improve energy efficiency on the Capitol Campus.
Past Projects
- Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system - In 2014 the Archives Building Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system was upgraded due to equipment being past it’s useful life (1984). The project appropriation was $1 million, and included an energy certificate of participation (COP) of $400,000, a $100,000 (name of) grant from the state Department of Commerce and a utility rebate of $50,820.
