Treatments of trees will take place at multiple state-owned locations. Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will not be impacted. Work will occur Friday, January 13, beginning at 8 a.m.
Where: The work will take place at three locations managed by the Department of Enterprise Services:
- West Capitol Campus, five yellow poplars
- Sylvester Park, one elm
- The modular building at 7580 New Market Street S.W. in Tumwater, 14 oaks
Why: The application of non-spray pest control treatment will protect the trees from insect damage. Work is weather dependent. This work was originally scheduled in December.
