Illustrator CC Level 1
Illustrator is the premier tool for creating vector images for magazines, newsletters, brochures, and the web. This introductory class covers the basics of drawing shapes and lines, creating text, and importing graphics. You'll learn techniques to boost your productivity with the program. This course will give you plenty of hands-on practice to ensure that Illustrator becomes one of your favorite programs.
This course is part of the Graphic Design Certificate series.
Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Identify the elements of the Adobe Illustrator workspace.
- Navigate Illustrator and find the tools and features you need.
- Draw basic shapes and objects.
- Create and edit vector images.
- Add color to your work.
- Use blends, gradients, and patterns.
- Add graphs to your documents.
- Add text to your documents, objects, and shapes.
Prerequisite: You should be familiar with Windows operating system before taking this course. Familiarity with Adobe software applications is helpful.
