Visiting the Capitol Campus during the 2024 legislative session?
Here’s what you need to know
Events
Each year, many permitted free speech events and activities take place on the Capitol Campus. These events can have an impact on traffic and parking. To plan ahead and see what’s happening on the day of your visit, see our Capitol Campus event calendar.
Parking and shuttle service
Metered visitor parking is available in several locations on the Capitol Campus. You can view the DES interactive map to find parking and electric vehicle charging stations available to visitors. The cost to park is $2 per hour on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Charging fees vary by station and can be found on the interactive map. During the 2024 legislative session, a shuttle service will be available to transport visitors and employees to different Campus locations every 15 minutes. See the shuttle route.
You can also visit the City of Olympia website for available parking downtown.
Explore the Capitol Campus
