On Oct. 8, Department of Enterprise Services is hosting Washington Procurement Connect, a conference that aims to connect small, diverse and veteran-owned businesses that want to do business with the State of Washington.

Department of Enterprise Services is excited to announce our first-ever Washington Procurement Connect (WPC) conference. This year’s theme is Strengthening Your Business, with a special focus on small businesses. Registration is free for all attendees.

  • 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024
  • Greater Tacoma Convention Center
  • 140 exhibitor booths

At this all-day conference, small, diverse, and veteran-owned businesses will have access to educational opportunities, keynote speakers and breakout sessions designed to:

  • Strengthen their businesses.
  • Develop relationships.
  • Learn how they can do business with the State of Washington.

WPC is also open to government purchasing leaders, procurement professionals from state agencies and municipalities (cities, counties, ports, school districts). We are offering training sessions for these attendees in partnership with the Washington chapter of The Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP). Those who participate in the training will receive NIGP credits.

Through WPC, we want to help businesses to better understand procurement and provide opportunities for them to engage with government purchasers. We also aim to strengthen the connection between businesses and Washington governments, creating a sustainable and just future.

Registration is open now. We hope to see you there!
